Wim Hof Guided Breathing – 5 Rounds

61 sessions

Five rounds turns the practice into something closer to a sitting. Twenty to twenty-five minutes, with the last two rounds arriving after your body has already fully adapted — which is why the holds in a five-round session are often noticeably longer than anything you reach in a shorter one.

This is a good length for a weekend morning, or for any day when you want the practice to be the thing you do rather than something you fit in. It is not harder than four rounds; it simply takes longer, and rewards you with more of the state that shows up at the end.

The sessions below vary in guiding voice, breathing pace, retention length and background sound. If five rounds is new to you, start with a slower pace and shorter retentions.

Sit or lie down. Never practise in water or while driving.
