About Meditorama

Meditorama started in 2019 with a simple frustration: the guided Wim Hof sessions available online either rushed you through the rounds or left you alone with a timer. Neither is much help when your eyes are closed and you are three rounds deep, wondering whether it is time to breathe.

So we made the sessions we wanted to practise. Guided from the first breath to the last, at a pace you can actually follow, with the retention times said out loud so you never have to open your eyes and look at a screen. Since then the channel has published hundreds of sessions in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and they have been practised millions of times.

How the sessions are made

Every session published here is practised before it is published. The pacing is set by breathing along with it, not by a formula — which is why the counts land where they do, and why the silences during retentions are the length they are.

The variables are deliberate. The number of rounds, the breaths per round, the speed of the breathing, the length of the holds, and the sound underneath are all choices that change the experience, and no single combination is right for everyone or for every morning. That is the whole idea behind this site: the same method, arranged the way it suits the day you are having.

What we will and will not say

We are not a medical service, and we do not claim the method treats or cures anything. When we describe what the research shows, we describe its limits too — including how small most of the studies are.

Every session and every page carries the same safety rules, because they matter more than anything else here: practise sitting or lying down, never in or near water, and never treat a timer as a target. Those rules cost nothing and they are what keeps this practice as safe as it should be.

Who is behind it

Meditorama is a small independent project, not a company or a wellness brand. The voice guiding most of the English sessions is Dex, who practises this method daily and has been making these recordings since 2019.

We are not affiliated with Wim Hof or his organisation. We are practitioners who make guided sessions, carefully, for other practitioners.

An app is on the way, built around the same idea: your practice, arranged your way.
