Wim Hof Guided Breathing – Up to 4:00 Retentions
25 sessions
Four minutes without breath is rare territory, and it should be said plainly: nothing about a four-minute hold is healthier than a two-minute one. What these sessions offer is not a superior practice but a particular experience — the deep, wide stillness of a very long retention — for seasoned practitioners who already live comfortably around three minutes and want, occasionally, to go and sit in it.
Everything that matters at three minutes matters more here. The hold is entered through complete relaxation or not at all; the timer is a description of the session's shape, never an instruction; and the practitioner who breathes in at 2:40 has done the session exactly right. Treat these as occasional deep sittings, rested and unhurried, never as a standard to maintain.
And the absolute rule bears repeating at this depth: never, under any circumstances, near water.
The sessions below differ in rounds, pace, voice and background sound.
Sit or lie down. Never practise in water or while driving.
