Use your headphones for a better experience! Inhale fully from stomach to chest to head, then let the exhale happen naturally. As says, “FULLY IN and let go…” Fill your lungs deeper than you thought possible and then relax, letting the air out! The effects of this practice will last all day!

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Use your headphones for a better experience!
2) Inhale through the nose or mouth and exhale through the mouth letting the air out. Keep a steady pace and use your midriff fully. Repeat this for 40 times.
3) Then let the air out and hold for as long as you can without force. Hold the breath until you experience the gasp reflex.
4) Inhale to full capacity. Feel your chest expanding. When you are at full capacity, hold the breath for around 15 seconds.
5) Repeat this process for 8 times!
6) Enjoy & have fun! 🙂

You may feel tingling in the hands, feet, or face. If the sensation of light-headedness gets too intense, just pause until you feel settled and then continue. Listen to your body and go with the flow.

IMPORTANT: Do this breathing technique in a comfortable seat—either in a chair or on cushions on the floor. Do not do this practice before or during diving, driving, swimming, taking a bath or any other environment/place where it might be dangerous to faint!!!

Neuroscientists have documented that light and/or sound stimulation: Strengthens those brainwave patterns that synchronize with the frequency of the flashing light and/or rhythmic sound and that these changes persist while performing mental tasks; and Increases brain metabolism and cerebral blood flow.

These Binaural Beats use this same alternating frequencies of 14 and 22 Hz = Beta Pattern. This frequency range may help promote concentration and alertness.

Meaning:
The Atmashatkam (आत्मषट्कम्, ātmaṣatkam), also known as Nirvanashatkam (निर्वाणषट्कम्, Nirvāṇaṣatkam), is a devotional composition consisting of 6 verses in Sanskrit, written by the Hindu philosopher Adi Shankara summarizing the basic teachings of Advaita Vedanta, or the Hindu teachings of non-dualism. It was written around 788-820 CE.

It is said that when Ādi Śaṅkara was a young boy of eight and wandering near River Narmada, seeking to find his guru, he encountered the seer Govinda Bhagavatpada who asked him, “Who are you?”. The boy answered with these stanzas, which are known as “Nirvāṇa Shatkam” or Ātma Shatkam”. Swami Govindapada accepted Ādi Śaṅkara as his disciple. The verses are said to be valued to progress in contemplation practices that lead to Self-Realization.

“Nirvāṇa” is complete equanimity, peace, tranquility, freedom and joy. “Ātma” is the True Self.
